- Understanding How the Education System is Structured in the USA
This workshop allows parents and guardians to learn how the educational system is organized and structured within the USA. It will focus on reviewing students' academic paths to successfully achieve high levels of education and a professional career. The main goal of this workshop is to inform parents to increase their school involvement and support parental skills.

- Comprender Cómo Está Estructurado El Sistema Educativo en los EE. UU.
Este taller ofrece a los padres y tutores la oportunidad de aprender cómo está organizado y estructurado el sistema educativo en los EE. UU. El taller se enfocará en proporcionar una revisión de las alternativas de la trayectoria académica de un estudiante para lograr altos niveles de educación y una carrera profesional con éxito. El objetivo principal de este taller es informar a los padres para que aumenten su participación en el sistema escolar de sus hijos para brindar un mejor apoyos as sus hijos.

- The Social and Emotional Impacts Within a Student’s Acculturation Process.
This workshop intends to educate parents regarding the most frequent challenges and struggles affecting their children due to their acculturation process. This workshop will describe to parents how adapting to American culture affects their children's lives throughout multiple levels and their family dynamics. The main goal of this workshop is to provide parents with recommendations for effective, parental supportive strategies to help their children succeed socially and emotionally.

- Los Impactos Sociales y Emocionales Dentro Del Proceso De Aculturación Del Estudiante.
Este taller pretende educar a los padres sobre los desafíos y luchas más frecuentes que afectan a sus hijos como resultado de su proceso de aculturación. Este taller se enfocará en describir cómo las diferentes fases del proceso de aculturación afectan las vidas de sus hijos en múltiples niveles y la dinámica familiar cuando están adoptando la cultura estadounidense. El objetivo principal de este taller es brindar a las padres recomendaciones de estrategias efectivas de apoyo para ayudar a sus hijos a tener éxito socioemocionalmente.

This workshop intends to educate parents regarding the most frequent academic challenges and struggles affecting their children resulting from experiencing biculturalism. The main goal of this workshop is to provide bilingual parents with recommendations for effective, supportive strategies that help their children achieve academic success.

- Cómo Padres Bilingües Pueden Apoyar El Éxito Académico De Sus Hijos.
Este taller tiene intenta educar a los padres bilingües sobre los desafíos y luchas académicas más frecuentes que afectan a sus hijos como resultado de experimentar biculturalismo. El objetivo principal de este taller es brindar a los padres bilingües recomendaciones de estrategias eficaces de apoyo para ayudar a sus hijos a lograr el éxito académico.

- Understanding The Interpersonal Effects of Stress, Anxiety, Depression & Trauma Among Children & Adolescents.
This workshop intends to educate parents regarding the common causes of stress, anxiety, and trauma among children and adolescents. This workshop will focus on educating parents on how these mental health stressors affect the active lives of their children. Moreover, this workshop will offer helpful parental strategies to support their children and cope with the psycho-emotional impacts of suffering from stress, anxiety, or a traumatic event.
Spanish Session 7:30 – 8:30 PM
- Comprender los Efectos interpersonales del estrés, Ansiedad, Depresión y Trauma en Niños y Adolescentes.
Este taller intenta educar a los padres sobre las causas comunes de estrés, ansiedad y trauma en niños y adolescentes. Este taller se enfocará en brindar educación a los padres sobre cómo este factor estresante de salud mental afecta la vida funcional de sus hijos. Además, este taller proporcionará estrategias útiles para los padres para ayudar a sus hijos a hacer frente a los impactos psicoemocionales de sufrir estrés, ansiedad o un evento traumático.

- Understanding How Mental Health Services Are Provided In & Out of School
This workshop allows parents and guardians to learn how to navigate the mental health system in and out of school. It will review the different types of our district mental health services, including special education services. The main goal of this workshop is to instruct parents on how to request, access, and find mental health support at times to alleviate their children from mental health concerns or conditions.
Spanish Session 7:30 – 8:30 PM
- Entender Cómo se Brindan Los Servicios De Salud Mental Dentro y Fuera de la Escuela.
Este taller ofrece a los padres y tutores la oportunidad de aprender como navegar por el sistema de salud mental dentro y fuera de la escuela. Este taller se enfocará en proporcionar una revisión de los diferentes tipos de servicios de salud mental, incluidos los servicios de educación especial. El objetivo principal de este taller es instruir a los padres para saber cómo solicitar, acceder y encontrar servicios de apoyo de salud mental para aliviar a sus hijos de sospechas y condiciones de salud mental.
