Port Washington Pre-K Program (Lottery)
The Port Washington Prekindergarten program is exclusively for families who reside in the Port Washington School District. In order to be eligible for the Port Washington Prekindergarten lottery your child must turn four years old by December 1st of the upcoming school year. Please fill out the forms below in order to be eligible for the Port Washington Pre-kindergarten program lottery. The lottery will take place in March. If your child is selected, you will be contacted by the Port Washington School District.
Port Washington Pre-K Program (Needs based)
To be eligible for the Targeted Prekindergarten Program in Port Washington, your child must turn four years old by December 1st of the upcoming school year. The Targeted Prekindergarten Program is reserved for families who are economically disadvantaged. Economically disadvantaged students are those who participate in, or whose family participates in, economic assistance programs, such as the free or reduced-price lunch programs, Social Security Insurance (SSI), Food Stamps, Foster Care, Refugee Assistance (cash or medical assistance), Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC), Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP), Safety Net Assistance (SNA), Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA), or Family Assistance: Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF). If one student in a family is identified as low income, all students from that household (economic unit) may be identified as low income. Please fill out the forms below and attach all supporting documentation.
