hello to our Port Washington families to our staff and of course to our amazing students welcome back to new school year and my name is Michael Hines and the very proud superintendent of schools for our school district my favorite day of the year is the first day of school and I'm hoping that the same for everybody by the way it's incredibly exciting time it's time for new beginnings and I can tell you we've been working very hard over the summer a for this day a letter is attached to this video and you will notice with the letter that we talked about the protocols as far as health and safety is concerned so I'm telling you we have a lot of new staff members whether it's teachers or other staff members and certainly administrators also we have a lot of a new beginnings this year and again we cannot wait to see you two are students on on Thursday and then finally I challenge you students to try something that's new and different something you've never ever done before I want you to take a risk take a chance and try and do your best I can't wait to see you on Thursday thank you
