  Paul D. Schreiber High School continued celebrating Black History Month today with a guest performance by two-time Grammy-nominated trumpeter Alphonso Horne from the Louis Armstrong House Museum. Students had the unique opportunity to engage in an assembly led by Horne and his jazz quartet, delving into Louis Armstrong's monumental impact on American culture. The event was part of a generous Ed. Foundation grant in collaboration with the Creative Arts department.

  Port Washington Girls & Boys Lacrosse Team dedicates their games the week of 4/23/23 to the life and legacy of Morgan Rodgers, a former Duke University Lacrosse student-athlete who died tragically in July 2019 after battling mental health struggles. Although Morgan's life was cut way too short, her legacy of unconditional love remains.
  
  Morgan's Message was created by her family and former teammates with the mission to eliminate the stigma surrounding mental health, normalize the conversations about mental health and to ensure that mental health is treated equally to physical health for all student-athletes.
