Dear Port Washington Families,

Welcome back to the start of a new and exciting school year! It is with great enthusiasm that I extend my warmest greetings to all of you as we prepare to embark on another year of learning, growth, and discovery. The first day of school is just around the corner on Tuesday, September 5th. This marks the start of a journey filled with opportunities to embrace change, foster positive relationships, and nurture a thriving school culture and climate.

Over the summer, our administrative team and district-wide staff have enriched academic offerings and upgraded facilities, setting the stage for an amazing year ahead.

During the first two weeks of school, we kindly ask for your patience as our transportation department adjusts to new bus routes. Please be assured that any initial delays will be temporary.

This year, our focus is on strengthening an environment where each student feels valued, empowered, and inspired to reach their potential.  Our dedicated educators and staff members are committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and inclusive atmosphere where curiosity is nurtured, and dreams are pursued with passion.

Throughout the year, you should anticipate engaging learning experiences, enriching extracurricular activities, and open dialogues between families, students, and educators. We value transparent communication and invite your active participation in your child's educational journey.

Our district calendar for events throughout the year can be found here. To view the ten-month calendar for the 2023-2024 school year, please click here. I hope to see all of you at Pride in Port on Saturday, September 23, 2023. Go Port!
