Port Washington Union Free School District is proud to partner with Transition Town Port Washington and Aramark to bring your child Plastic-Free Lunch!
Change is already under way in the cafeteria! On Friday, April 19th, we will celebrate Plastic-Free Lunch Day USA and begin the transition to a plastic free lunch period for your child.
This is the result of three years of work from student leaders at Schreiber and Weber with local non-profit Transition Town Port Washington, to educate our school community about the health and environmental impact of single-use plastics on our children.
