Port Washington School District is proud to announce that eleven Paul D. Schreiber High School students were honored at the statewide level by the New York State School Music Association (NYSSMA) as all-state performers!
The students were selected from thousands of students statewide based on their performance during auditions at the NYSSMA Solo and Ensemble Festival last spring. Current and previous performance experiences are also considered by the committees.
Port Washington School District's Director of Creative Arts, Kevin Scully, stated, "Being recognized by NYSSMA at this level is the culmination of years of hard work and dedication by the students and their music teachers. We are so proud of them, and we are grateful to the community for their strong support of the arts in Port Washington!"
