The Port Washington Union Free School District is pleased to announce the community-based organizations (CBOs) that will serve as district partners in our Universal Prekindergarten (UPK) program for the 2026-2027 school year following the recent Request for Proposals (RFP) process.
The following organizations have agreed to partner with the district to provide five hours of PreK programming at no cost to Port Washington four-year-old children, up to a designated number of seats at each organization:

Families interested in securing a UPK seat at one of these organizations should contact the program directors directly for additional information regarding availability and registration procedures. If the number of interested families exceeds the school's capacity, a lottery will be held.
Additional information regarding the district’s overall UPK program and lottery process will be shared with families in the coming weeks.
