“Way, way back many centuries ago…” a young dreamer named Joseph was given a coat of many colors—and a story that has dazzled audiences for generations. Weber Middle School’s Drama Club is proud to present their spring musical production of: Joseph & the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.
This high-energy, colorful musical that tells the story of Joseph, a dreamer whose special coat sparks jealousy among his brothers and sets him on an unexpected journey. From betrayal and hardship to forgiveness and triumph, Joseph’s story unfolds through an eclectic and wildly entertaining score that spans pop, rock, calypso, country, and even Elvis-inspired rock ’n’ roll.
Weber Middle School’s production of Joseph & the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat is directed by Weber English teacher Mrs. Stacey Portmore-Davies, musically directed by Weber music teacher Mrs. Allison Friedman, and choreographed by Port schools’ alumni Ms. Sarabeth Schiff. The show features over 120 talented students in the cast, crew, and pit orchestra! Performances will be held on Friday, March 13th at 7:30pm, Saturday, March 14th at 7:30pm, and Sunday, March 15th at 2:00pm in the Weber Middle School auditorium. Tickets are $11 online/$10 at the door for adults, $8 online/$7 at the door for students (K-12) and senior citizens (65+), and children five and under are free!
