Parent University- October 29, 2025

We are extremely excited to invite you to our first districtwide Parent University event! This special evening will feature a resource fair highlighting local community organizations, along with a variety of parent workshops designed to strengthen the home-school connection. As valued partners in your child’s education, we believe these sessions will provide meaningful tools and information to support your child’s academic, social, and emotional development.

Our Parent University Committee, made up of district administrators, guidance counselors, and social workers, has been working hard to bring in knowledgeable presenters and timely topics that reflect the real-life challenges and trends we are seeing today. We are offering workshops in English and Spanish for everyone, with topics including executive functioning, ADHD, anxiety, and more. All topics were carefully chosen to help you better understand and support your child’s needs.

To make it easier for families to attend, we will be offering free babysitting services for children ages 5 and older during the event.

Parents will have the opportunity to choose two workshops to attend during the evening, allowing for a personalized experience based on your interests and your child’s unique journey. Sessions are specifically tailored for parents of elementary, middle, and high school students, ensuring that each family receives age-appropriate and relevant information.

We hope you’ll join us for this important and engaging evening!
