Weber Middle School’s Drama Club presents: All Shook Up

by Allison Friedman

Our hands are shaky and our knees are weak.  We can’t seem to stand on our own two feet!

Who do you think of when you have such luck?

We’re in love… with the cast and crew of Weber Middle School’s production of “All Shook Up!”

Grab your blue suede shoes and get ready to rock n roll with the cast and crew of Weber Middle School’s production of All Shook Up March 11th-13th!  Based on Shakespeare's Twelfth Night and inspired by and featuring the songs of Elvis Presley, All Shook Up tells the story of a guitar playing Roustabout, Chad, (7th grader Chase Goldstein) who rides into a small little town and shakes everything up.  What results is a hip-swiveling, lip-curling musical fantasy that'll have you dancing in your seats featuring all Elvis hits such as: “Can’t Help Fallin’ in Love,” “Jailhouse Rock,” “Hound Dog,” and “Heartbreak Hotel.”

Weber Middle School’s production of All Shook Up is directed by Weber English teacher Mrs. Stacey Portmore-Davies, musically directed by Weber music teacher Mrs. Allison Friedman, and choreographed by Danceworks owner/teacher Ms. Trish Gargani. The show features over 100 talented students in the cast and crew! Performances will be held on Friday, March 11th at 7:30pm, Saturday, March 12th at 7:30pm, and Sunday, March 13th  at 2:00pm in the Weber Middle School auditorium. Tickets are $8 for general admission, $5 for students (K-12) and senior citizens (65+), and children five and under are free!  Seats will be socially distanced, and tickets may be purchased online (http://weberms.seatyourself.biz); limited tickets will be available at the door.
