     To register for the first course in the series, EDL 501 - Educational Leadership Theory I (online course with live Zoom meetings on Wednesdays 9/21/2022 – 12/7/2022 at 4:30 PM), please follow the below steps:

    1) If you missed the live June 1, 2022 virtual informational meeting, please watch a recording of it by clicking here

    2) Complete the brief Google interest form here

    3) (Due 7/1/2022) Submit an application to be an Educational Leadership Program student at Stony Brook University by following the instructions on pages/slides 18 - 20 on the attached Powerpoint presentation.  

    You will be receiving an email from the Port Washington Teacher Center regarding tuition payment for the first course a few weeks prior to its start on September 21, 2022

    Note: At this time, the Teacher Center Office and Classroom are closed to guests. Most in-service classes are online. Only those registered on My Learning Plan or through Director Susan McAuliffe will enter the building.
    Northern Blvd (east or west) or Searingtown Road north to Route 101 North (a.k.a. Port Washington Boulevard).  Take Port Washington Blvd/101 No. to Campus Drive (Weber Middle School on southeast corner of Campus Drive).  Then....
    To park, follow Campus Drive towards the secondary campus.  Make the second right after the first crosswalk into the Flower Hill parking lot (ingnore the arrow painted on the pavement. Enter the lot with the arrow pointing "out.") Enter Weber from the Flower Hill parking lot. After parking, use the outside concrete staircase, which is located between the keypad door entry and the metal stairwell in the left corner near the gym entry. This is the entrance to both the PWTA Office and the Teacher Center Classroom. Follow the concrete stairs down to the door entry of the Teacher Center Classroom.  If you still have trouble entering, please call 883-6229 (PWTA Office) or 767-5615 (Teacher Center Office).
    There is no entry to the Teacher Center through the keypad door after 3:45 p.m. 
    Please use the PWTA entry door if entering after 3:45 p.m.
