This is a one year course. Part of the first semester will include complex numbers, polar coordinates, DeMoivre's Theorem, limits and the derivative of a function.
Particular emphasis will be on problem solving and on those topics needed in Differential Calculus.
Upon completion of these topics, students will continue with Differential Calculus, completing a course sequence designed to introduce the student to the basic tools of calculus, and be able to continue the following year with AP Calculus AB.
A Midterm and Final exam will be given.
