A New Way to Chronicle Student Engagement is Here
Say goodbye to paper tracking and excel documents! Students, faculty and families at Port Washington will have access starting this fall to Passport For Good, a mobile-friendly web-based platform that simplifies, recognizes, and celebrates student engagement in the community by allowing students to chronicle their community service, career development, and participation in extracurricular activities.
Completely paper free, this user-friendly platform chronicles and verifies students’ community service, career development and participation experiences inside and outside the classroom.
So how does it work?
Students log their hours into the platform which are then verified by a supervisor to confirm or deny the entry. Students maintain access to their passport activity, and it can easily be exported. Students have a real-time and historical view of all verified hours as well as the ability to view their involvement in their organizations, clubs and activities within the dashboard.
Passport For Good allows students to quantify their positive community impact and support their college and career goals, while laying a firm foundation for their future as good a citizen.
